7:00 AM — I’m one of those people who likes waking up at 7am even on the weekends. On a good day, I have a cup of tea and sit on my balcony to soak in some vitamin D, read a book, and meditate. Today was one of those days.
10:00 AM — Head to Y7 Studio in Melrose for a hip-hop hot yoga class. $25
11:30 AM — Post yoga yogurt bowl from Go Greek in Beverly Hills. They have both fresh and frozen yogurt, but I prefer the fresh with savory toppings. I’m actually addicted to this place in the summertime. $7
12:00 PM — I walk around with my yogurt and end up at the Beverly Canon Gardens, a public garden located on the Montage Hotel property. There’s plenty of seating, Bouchon cafe, and a good mix of tourists and locals, which makes it one of my favorite people watching destinations.
1:30 PM — Head home. Shower. Re-watch Gossip Girl for the 4th time. Nap.
3:30 PM — Aritzia just opened up in Century City and I’m a long time fan of their stylish basics. The mall is currently undergoing construction but half of it is done and is super pleasant. I don’t end up buying anything, but I spend a solid two hours here walking around and checking out the new shops. $2 for parking.
7:00 PM — I meet two friends for early dinner at Jon and Vinny’s. The LA Woman pizza truly lives up to the hype, as does the spicy fusilli. We split, so it’s about $20 each.
9:00 PM — We head to the rooftop bar at EP + LP for drinks, Instagrammable moments, and people watching. $15 for the frozen cocktail.
11:00 PM — head home. Continue Gossip Girl. Sleep. $6 for the Uber home.
DAY IN LA TOTAL: $75
